SOLDIERS & SAILORS TO INDUCT 9 HEROES INTO THE JOSEPH A. DUGAN, JR. HALL OF VALOR
Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum, is proud to announce that 9 men from Pennsylvania will be inducted into the Joseph A. Dugan, Jr. Hall of Valor on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2pm during a luncheon ceremony. The Master of Ceremonies will be Pennsylvania Senator John Pippy with USMC Leatherneck League of Washington County being the US Color Guard and Vietnam Veterans Inc as the Honor Guard presenting the Hall of Valor Plaques for each inductee (listed below).
For over 45 years, Soldiers & Sailors has been inducting men and women who have received medals for acts of valor during military conflicts into our Joseph A. Dugan, Jr. Hall of Valor. To qualify, a member of the armed forces must have been born, enlisted or lived most of their life in Pennsylvania. The qualifying medals are: The Medal of Honor(MOH), The Distinguished Service Cross(DSC), The Navy Cross, The Air Force Cross, The Silver Star Medal(SS), The Distinguished Flying Cross(DFC) or The Soldiers Medal.
