Memberships: Carrick, Brentwood American Legion Post 725 (Commander), VFW and Disabled Veterans of USMM Mon Valley.

Served in the United States Army in the 106th Infantry Division, POE Company M, 83rd Infantry during WWII.

During his service he served in Normandy and received a purple heart and Combat Infantry badge.
