The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh presents The Greatest Generation: An American Oratorio, an homage to the American family at war.  This oratorio combines the popular tunes from the World War II era with new original compositions and arrangements.  With a libretto by Dan Kehde and original music and arrangements by Roger Ames with Elizabeth Bassine, the work includes classics from Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, Arthur Miller, Cole Porter, and more!  From deployment to victory, this performance brings the trials of love and war to life in this musical odyssey.
