African American soldiers played a key role in the Civil War. In this live class, we’ll learn about this significant era in American history and the substantial impact that African American soldiers made. We’ll hear the stories of Medal of Honor recipients Alexander Kelly and James H. Bronson, as well as follow the journey of Matthew Nesbitt from “slave to soldier” in an interactive exploration that challenges you to ask, “What would I do?” The free class will take place Tuesday, February 23rd at 7PM.
